  1. This guy Bill is awesome too, dirt bikes, quads from the 70's to present day! He's a top notch builder! Just another option he's fair and won't try to sell you anything you don't need! http://www.ccycle.com/
  2. Steve @ Impact Solutions highly recommended! 740-989-2026
  3. Which one, this one? I'd say a days worth of riding will wear down any excessive poly urethane.. Or be proactive like Sleeper said and just grind a little away and be done! https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/401070684179
  4. Nick, down here on Long Island there are dozens of places that sell VP and even cam2 at the pump...
  5. Same exact thing happened to me on my previous motor, builder said the rings snagged on the exhaust port. He blamed it on cold starts (staring it and revving the throttle when the cylinder is still cold) which I NEVER EVER DO! Needless to say I don't deal with that shop anymore and Sleeper06 works on my motor now...
  6. I was going to buy this rear shock but needed the funds for something else. Yes it will work with stock linkage and will work with stock length swing arm.
  7. That's a tough call a lot of good porters out there, board sponsors and non board sponsors.. Look around, ask questions, get pricing and make your call from there..
  8. Don't do it don't do it. I contemplated this and when I read into it and asked around I was told, I might as ask use my money as kindling to start my barn fire! Save up get a nice set of entry level set of aftermarket shocks and be happy and worry free!
  9. That's cool, but are you building to stock specifications or going to a larger piston, porting, higher compression, bigger carbs, open intake? What we need to know if your going to be in he horsepower/torque range of say stock up to 75 horsepower, the stock length swingarm or even a shortened swingarm would be fine. If your going beyond that power level it may benefit you to extend the swingarm slightly..
  10. Sherider could you put up a link where one can find a stabilizer like yours, maybe post a pic of it on your banshee , thanks!
  11. Good description above on how the perform I may pick 2 up 1 for my banshee and 1 for my 250R. Who makes them and what do they run $??
  12. Makes sense I completely agree!! More tire contact surface the better..
  13. These are my American Racing +2+1 I run with my Ohlins on my 250R and they are STOUT AS FUCK!!!!!! And they make an awesome a-arm for the banshee too! Might go this route undecided yet..
  14. I want Fireball, but for the love of God they are elusive like ghosts! I cannot get a price or any specifics on that company....
  15. I cannot find pricing on the Fireball a arms anywhere! Anyone known what a standard travel set of Fireball a arms costs???
  16. Hahahaha for some reason I'm missing the "inside" joke but it's funny nonetheless.! So you guys are suggesting for the little extra go with the long travel a-arms and shocks?
  17. LMAO you guys rhetoric is one for the record books!!! :)
  18. Sangharaent what kind of a-arms and shocks are you running?
  19. Your right Roll and JD are long travel and that is something I do not want! So that narrows it down to Fireball, LSR, Alba, American Star or Full Flights.. I do not know if Houser makes a-arms for banshees, come to think of it I don't think they do... Can anyone confirm? I'm waiting to hear back on a price for Fireballs.. I can speak form experience that the American Stars are built like fucking tank parts! Solid super durable and adjustable and have a lifetime warranty! I have them on my 250R! Here are the American Stars check them out.. https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/361528930964 What is the price point on the Fireballs (ball park)??
  20. Sheerider I'm signed up with the NJ ironworkers, doesn't the NJ ironworker local cover all steel, structural steel and rebar?? The NJ ironworkers are the best, they carry, cut and bend the rebar them selves! In NY the metal lathers want the laborers to carry all the steel to the bending machine and do all he heavy work! Plus in NJ the rebar can come cut and bent from the mill, in NY the rebar must be bent on site! You know what that costs me on a job with 10,000,000 lbs of rebar, 5000 tons!!!!! I built the PATH Station in Harrison NJ, right behind the Bulls Stadium!!
  21. In the market for +2+1 a-arms.. I've looked at them all from least expensive to expensive and I cannot decide which ones to pull the trigger on.. So, with the following being considered; Alba, Full Flight, Lonestar, Fireball, American Star, JD, Houser and big dollar Roll Design! My fucking head hurts! All I can say is they all appear to be built the same, offer the same +2+1 geometry, warranty against failure. What brand do you guys recommend for my weekend warrior? I do not jump at all so I am looking for an a-arm strictly for a handling purpose.. All the above mentioned a-arms above are within $100-$150 in price except the buku dollar Roll Design.. Discuss. FYI the shocks I will be using with my new a-arms are Elka Stage 3. Thanks!
  22. I never understood the guys who run crazy high wattage LED lights on high horsepower bikes.. Do you really ride your bikes at night to its full potential or just laze easy nighttime riding?
