  1. CR 500's are not hard to start, KTM 550's on the other hand will give ya a run for your money.
  2. How about rescheduling it. The sunday activities don't seem to attract near as many people. All the rearranging of the times is a little confusing as well. Just my opinion tho.
  3. Hot Rods cranks are shit? Been hearing alot of bad things about them lately. Mines still in one piece but for how long?
  4. Damn man, you gotta chill on this reserve thing. It's not that big of a deal. One tube is approximately an inch shorter than the other. When the fuel level in tank gets low, it cannot flow into the taller tube. So, we switch to reserve setting, and the SMALL amount of fuel that is left in the tank gets used up by flowing into the short tube. When this happens the motor dies and your done, finished! I have yet to see the reserve on a Banshee work worth a shit, but I don't lay in bed at night fretting over it. I don't think that Yamaha meant for the reserve feature to get you another 30 miles toward your destination. If having to walk is what you're worried about, try taking the gas cap off and peering in the tank every so often. This will alert you to a low fuel level and give you ample time in which to make it safely back home or to the truck.
  5. Damn man, thats a nice old bike! Dont see too many first yr bikes in that kinda shape.
  6. A nice sized deadblow hammer will tweak it back into shape fairly easily. It doesnt require much pressure to bend it. Been there, done that.
  7. Mines Final! Everyone is right, your emotions will run the gauntlet, from one end of the spectrum to the other. You will not sleep for a couple weeks, and you'll prolly never feel hungry. It's a tough battle, one that no one can imagine unless they are put in that situation. Its been 3 months for me though, and I have lost 90% of my emotional ties to her. Once you're married to someone its hard to just turn off all emotions overnight. It gets better though, trust me, I think about the whole situation less and less everyday. Though it may not seem like it for a few more weeks, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
  8. Wouldn't happen to have two of those lockup covers would ya?
  9. Been in your shoes man! Thank God mine is final tomorrow(May1). I go to court at 9:00 in the morning. Bitch hardly got anything though, and didn't put up much of a fight. Trust me, you got some tough days ahead, but not nearly as tough as trying to keep a relationship together when the other party doesn't put any effort into it. Better days lie ahead bro!
  10. Yeah, how about some +3 forward, stock width drag A-arms.

    Brake lines

If you're using a round housing style swingarm the stock line will work on +6.
  12. The Trinity head is a top notch product. There is no need to change the studs due to the design of the head and nuts. Only drawback is the "proprietary" design of the domes. Its a super strong design, but makes it a hassle to order new ones since you have to order them directly from Trinity. I'm in no way a fan of Trinity, but I do believe their head is one of the best out there.
  13. Gotta set of Shearer inframes for sale!
  14. I've seen C's bike run and it does haul! You guys have your work cut out for ya.
  15. Fill valve could be bad...you can test it by taking it off and applying 110 voltage to it. See if you can hear the solenoid clicking.
  16. I had this problem once when my Outerwears were dirty. They looked good visually but as soon as they were pulled off it ran like a mutha!
  17. Im thinkin maybe powervalves or busted reeds. I'd hafta personally inspect it in order to figure it out without any more clues.
  18. That would be the shift shaft..it pulls straight out. Be sure to remove the shift lever first tho.
  19. The Pingel will neither help ya or hurt ya (unless of course you swith to alky) but if you like the looks of it, can afford it and it gives ya peace of mind, get it. In the end if it weren't for beer, bikes and bitches, we'd all be rich, but what would we have to show for it?
  20. Glad to hear you finally budged that bitch.

    tires

If you search around, the Ohtsus can be had for around $60 per tire. Yes, they are stock 400EX tires but they hook up like mad on a Banshee.
  22. Cometic are just as good if not better than stock. I use em.
