I don't see any reason why it wouldn't bring between 5-7k. It's a piece of history that will never again be produced, and if it's in the condition you claim it is, some collector would love to have it.

I've got a toomey oversized rad that is in excellent cond that I may be willing to part with.

Soapy water and a rag have been working for me for 25 yrs now. Seems to be fairly cheap as well!

Got one thats been lightened, no bends up front at all but rear portion of subframe has been tweaked on a couple times.

I'm thinkin you're gonna be in for a fairly thrilling ride. No wheelie bar and stock frame with that much power prolly wont be real consistent.

I had this problem with mine when I had the stock swinger on it. I found that unless the carrier bolts were tight as a mf'er, the carrier would someone slip forward while riding. Then when I would either jump and gas it hard upon landing or take off hard on pavement, the carrier would slam back against the adjuster bolts. This produced a wicked sounding pop. I was sure something was shelling out the first time I heard it. May be something to look into.

Mine worked flawlessly for a month! One night at the drags it decided it was gonna start leaking. The leak turned into a small stream and after about 30 mins it was pouring out. Ended up being the rubber gasket between the plate and the tank. It split out where the standpipe goes into tank allowing alky to run down over everything incuding my leg. I made a new gasket out of a truck innertube and it seems to be holding.

I've never taken a Banshee shock apart but I assume its like a MX bike. Thread the preload rings all the way to the top so that there is no load on the spring then take the plate out of the bottom. It should have a groove in it so that it will slide past the shaft. The spring will then fall off.

Nope, tie rods are goin with the frame when I sell it. sorry. Now taking offers on complete frame with a arms, shocks, +10 swingarm with strut, and steering stem. Frame has been lightened.
