  1. Right on pal, I knew I wouldnt win when I left the house. That comment was a funny rhyme that sounded good at the time. I don't recall you getting the trophy with a no.1 on it either, so technically you shouldn't throw stones. The Grizzly thing was slam on my friend who I bought a Grizzly with the same day, so that can't really be used here. The watermelon thing.... I'll admit was distasteful but I wrote it nonetheless,,..couldn't resist....sorry everyone. As a matter of fact, I had more pm's from peeps laughing than I had replies in the thread so I'm really not alone Now, as for me replying in every thread that Tyler has, I believe your mistaken young brother. Tyler has 6,784 posts and I have 97. Unless some sort of counter is malfunctioning it's an impossible feat for me to have replied to every one of his posts. Thanks for shopping.
  2. Right on, thanks for taking the initiative. Thats how it was whan I first joined and thats what it needs to get back to.
  3. Theres a vid of one throwing some dudes wig back at K&Ts website. It hauls ass!
  4. Good job, you just proved my point, and NO, I have not thrown and have never seen anyone else throw their helmet. It's unsportsmanlike and uncalled for. Where I come from you take losing like a man and show up the next better prepared. I tell ya what, just print off what I wrote, take it outside, and piss on it. I'm done!
  5. Im willing to bet that if my banshee had a set of cheetahs it would NOT be boring.
  6. Tyler, I hate to say I told you so, but I knew it would come to this. Dan Wade and Calvin Pollet are both excellent examples of what a mod should be. They remain neutral until the shit fights start and then they give an intelligent explanation on the subject and try to resolve the issue as politely as possible. You've obviously gained a lot of respect from a good many members on here due to your help in the past as well as your high priced bikes and above par riding skills. A lot of members here are young and very impressionable, when they see your bikes and videos the oohs and ahhs can be heard from my house. What they don't see is the show you put on at ABATE (I'm not getting into the details, you can do that at your discretion). It was an embarrassing situation for the rest of us and for that i believe you owe us an apology. In the last few months I think you've been losing some of that respect due to your stern comments and opinions. It's easier to let the cat out of the bag than to put it back in. If you want to be a mod here then by all means do it, but please take this thread as a lesson to become more neutral and congenial towards everyone no matter how stupid their post may be. (who knows, maybe one day a Tecate will outrun us) You're a good rider and have excellent equipment, but don't let it go to your head, cause in the end you'll have to face the people on the way down that you kicked to the curb on the way up.
  7. Or you can just buy mine for $50. It's like new and I don't think its ever bumped anything other than the shop wall.
  8. It may not run shitty but it won't run as good as if it were properly packed. Without it they sound loud and stupid.
  9. They're all junk. The battery is either dead or it's not getting reception. If you do finally get a charged battery and reception at the same time, the person you're talking to won't have reception. Junk!
  10. Go ahead and buy his, if you don't you'll wish you had.
  11. Some dork from St.Joe that liked doing burn outs and throwing roost on everyone whipped our asses. (I was bout to slap his ass off that fucker) After that we got drunk, listened to a cover band and watched the tittie contest. I think that sums it up.

    fattys

I've got a set that are like new with maybe 10 hrs on them. PM me and we'll haggle over price.
  13. If thats what you're doin with it then get the shearers. As to your original question, you can use any clamp that will work on an FMF Fatty. Just put it on the opposite way. The chrome isn't as good as it could be, its basically like an FMF in that aspect. Don't let these guys scare you with the talk about no bottom end either, I didn't notice much of a loss at all on bottom and it pulls twice as hard as the FMFs through the mid and top while revving about 1000 rpm further. In fact, I could still trail ride it anywhere I want. If you can't get through a trail it's not because of the pipes.
  14. In that case I should be unbeatable. With the combination of slipping clutch(traction control) and Shearers, I'll have no wheelspin and it'll rev like a sumbitch. I look forward to seeing everyone there and I'll post directions as the date nears. Be sure to be ready for a full day of excitement, most of the Harley guys are fanatical, legal and illegal substance mind altered screamin eagles when it comes time for them to race. Good Times!
  15. Man, I wish I'd shown up to see some of this shit. I've been to some drags that sound exactly like this and had hella good time. Who cares if its organized or not, just go with it and have fun racing. I could give a damn about winning as long as I get to race, hang out with friends and down a few cold ones. ABATE drags bitches. June 18, Atchison KS I got Shearer pipes, bring your bikes and get your asses whupped.
  16. what about the original Polaris. Trailboss? or Cyclone? some shit like that.
  17. By reading, I'm under the impression that they work best on drag motors. Looks to me like the 2's will be better for most people.
  18. If you want a good trail motor and are just dying to spend some money, why not just buy the PV Cheetahs? Thats the purpose of the powervalve. It alters the timing of the exhaust port with the rpm of the motor. Gives you good low end like a trail bike at low rpm but opens up at higher revs giving you top end power of a drag bike. Please don't argue with me about this, I know you want to. If it didn't work I doubt that every motorcycle manufacturer in the world who builds an MX or enduro bike would still be using them. Using cubs in the woods would be comparable to rock crawling with a motor from a pro stock drag car. It may be possible but it won't be fun. The cubs were built with top end power in mind. They are an affordable way for the average guy to have a fairly inexpensive drag bike. I'm thinking of buying a set myself, as my bike is no longer trail ridden, I now have a Grizzly for that purpose. Mine will only be seeing sand from now on, and I think the cubs would be an excellent way of making relatively cheap power. My 2 cents, either put it in your pocket or throw it in the street but don't fucking argue with me. ED, sorry about that last reply, I forgot this comp was logged in in your name.
  19. Its all in the surface area of the plates and tension of the springs. I don't care for a stiff clutch pull tho, so I normally run 3 stiff and 3 standard rate springs.
  20. I just got a set and yes they are loud. I don't know the numbers but I think I can quiet them down with a different type of packing with a medium pack. They kinda sound like shit the way they are now. so I gotta do something.
  21. Same deal just happened to me on a new set of Shearers. Won em on ebay for $440 and paid within 5 mins. They didn't show for about three weeks so I filed a claim with Paypal. Pipes showed up 4 days later. Ya gotta watch em too, cause either they changed the ebay member name to dunetire instead of in2glamis or their running two accounts. I wouldn't have bought em if I'd known who I was buying from.
  22. I didn't have any trouble except with the right side. I don't know if the mount on the pipe was placed incorrectly or what but it was off quite a bit. I just took a file and elongated the hole in the hanger. The head on the bolt covers the hole so no one even knows.
