I'm lookin for a key. I thought I had one at home yet, but to no avail. So now I'm in need of a key with the wires that come off the harness itself to connect to the wires that go to the switch. I cut all that stuff off and got rid of it a long time ago I guess. So wires from harness to wires of switch, switch, and a key or two please. Bob

Sandstar...You get yours street legal or somethin? I'm just wondering about emissions. It will NOT be easy to pass emissions with a banshee. One guy at school said it's impossible to street legalize a 2 stroke, but I dunno if I believe him cause one of the instructors said he's seen them ridin around on the road, comin to school and such with them even. The thing you said about a Maricopa cop tellin you that...Did he say you need a motorcycle license for it? I'm still confused about that. The DMV says I SHOULD have one...but it's not required...Kinda messed up. Anything else you know? Later Bob

Stock tires will cut it...Specs on the sheet I got from the DMV says nothing about tires. I don't need turn signals either, but I'm gonna get them just cause I don't wanna have to do hand signals. Nerf bars are also not needed, but I already have them from racing so they are on there. Brake lever and lights too. I already know what I need to make it street legal...I'm just asking about the licensing portion if anybody knew. Thanks though. Bob

Alright. I've heard a few different things already, and instead of utilizing the "search" function I'm just gonna ask what's probaby been asked a million times. To ride a quad on the streets, do I need to get a Class M drivers license? I was told at school I needed a bike license, but on this webiste I found it says "You must have a class M driver license for a three-wheel ATV and a class D driver license for a four-wheel ATV." So before I get to the DMV tomorrow I'd kinda like to know if anybody out there already knows off the top of their head. Also...still looking for a trailtech speedo and some stock tires (front and rear) on rims. If anybody has any usefull info, I send you a thanks. Later Bob

Alright. I was at the track for practice one night just dickin around doubling everything fine. I went off one and I messed up somethin. I landed HARD. I ended up bending my shift shaft and I couldn't get outa 4th gear. I'd shift up and the lever would stay up for a bit then drop back to the middle, I'd shift down and it'd stay down and pop back to the middle. Propped it up on its side against my trailer and took the clutch cover off...Nothing inside looked messed up to me, but when I hit the lever it still would not work. I'd see the fork work and the star would just pop back. So getting pissed off I just put the cover back on and dropped it down...started it up for the hell of it and shifted...Worked fine. I thought maybe the shift fork would be bent or outa shape if it didn't shift, but why would it not shift one time and then shift afterwards? I'm confused as hell so if anybody has any suggestions I'd love to hear them. Later Bob

Only laws here is At least 1 brake light that can be operated by hand or foot, Brake light, At least one but no more than two headlights that shine at least 500ft ahead, At least one taillight, visible for at least 500ft to the rear, At least one red rear reflector, if not part of the taillight, License plate securely fastened to the rear of the ATV, License plate light, Horn, audible from a distance of at least 200ft, Muffler in good working order and in constant operation (Muffler cutout, bypass or similar device is prohibited) Rearview mirror, Seat and footrests for the operator, Fuel tank cap, and it says If you live in the Phoenix or Tuscon areas you may also need to have your ATV emission tested, which I do...Not sure how easy it will be to pass that one, but I'm sure with stock silencers it shouldn't be too bad. I'm gonna get 2 kits, 4 turn signals with switch and the rear light/horn/mirror stuff for about 80 bux. Then a trailtech speedometer and a set of stock tires on rims. So if anybody has the tires or a speedometer they wanna get rid of hook me up. I'm getting pumped for this shit! Later Bob

Alright...I told some guys I was moving down here to AZ a month ago...How come nobody told me I can have a street legal quad here?!? I woulda had that shit done before I came, but now I find out and gotta go through the steps...Anybody wanna help with that? Also...Anybody in this area...I'm a bit east of Glendale right off of Greenway and I-17. If anybody is in this area it'd be kickass to meet up or somethin. So if anybody's got any suggestions on the street legal deal I'd really appreciate it. Such as...what kinda tires can I use, lights and shit like that. Later Bob

Well I'm gonna be movin to AZ in about 2 weeks now and going to MMI. Is anybody from around the Avondale area that I could maybe meet up with to show me around a bit or just help me out? Also, if anybody out there has a place and would be able to store my banshee and gear for me I'd really appreciate it, so I wouldn't have to rent a storage building. If we could work out some kind of agreement, I just really need a place to store it right now and am getting a little worried cause moving time is coming up pretty fast. So if anybody could help me out please shoot me a pm or email me at thenetoriousblob@hotmail.com Thanks Bob

Coolant has not been spewing out the breather lately....For some reason that problem seems to be fixed...it's the running at 160-170* thing I'm worried about.
-
I had the impellor cover off and hit the kickstart just to make sure it was turning and it does. You sure 160-170 ain't bad? That seems insanely hot to me considering it was running 120-130 for the longest time...Oh well I guess I'll just have to keep riding it and if it explodes then so be it.
