EastCoast Banshee Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 Well i did this little mod to day nothing to special but i figured id share. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 only thing i see wrong is its infornt of your radiator.. your more prone to rocks hitting it... but my main concern is that your blocking where the majority of air comes under your plasics to your radiator.. Quote
EastCoast Banshee Posted April 16, 2007 Author Report Posted April 16, 2007 I have a really open grill so it shouldn't be a problem. As for rocks hitting it i think its far better off behind my bumber than out in the open under my seat. Quote
87sheerips Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 Sweeet! Ima get around to ckeanin up my harness one of these days. Looks sharp! Quote
Matt96shee Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 yup...did the same with my RZ electronics. the bumper covers up the area fairly well and everything is almost below the radiator. perfect spot i think. Quote
EastCoast Banshee Posted April 16, 2007 Author Report Posted April 16, 2007 Well damn RZ motors got a lot of shit for them haha Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 Member SMKMUPBANSHEE of GB Racing sells these pretty cool CDI relocation mounts that go behind the radiator. Inexpensive product for a good mod. Check it out: http://gbracing.everything2stroke.com/ Quote

endofitall9 Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 Damn nation...ClimbAnyHill....I've been ;looking for that thread for a week...I'm going to buy one lol and i couldnt find the thread..... Josh Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 It's definately a good mod, behind the rad & under the tank. It's clearly in a safe area there. Doesn't cost much at all. Don't quote me but ask him. I think if you send him your CDI, he will return your Bracket & CDI shortened & cleaned up from the not needed wiring! Quote
endofitall9 Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 i emailed him at the addy on that site..just waiting on reply..I thought about going with locos setup, but then I thought I'm too lazy I'll just buy this thing...my hardness has already been chopped so it wouldn't be that hard to go ahead and cut the rest out. shanYE west Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Here is what I did to move my CDI to the front of my drag bike. The plate cost me 10.00 but I had it laying around from when I used to have a key.. So it didn't cost me anything extra. Quote
theshee Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Majicmike got me this plate deal that mounts behind the radiator, around the steering stem. The CDI mounts under there and it cleans up the wiring a bunch. I only have 3 wires on my whole bike. I dont have headlights or taillight, but this plate deal looks really nice. I will go snap a pic of it real quick for everybody to see... Quote
