bodge
Hi wot pipe is best to put a temp senser in ? the one from the head or the one from the pump? I take it one will show engine temp and the other the temp after it has been cooled.
Bansh-eman
theres no point of showing the temp after its been cooled if your using it to determine your motor over heating then putting it after your radiator is pointless
Animalman294
Yes, it needs to go between the water pump and the radiator, that way you know what the coolant in the motor is doing....................

RIPPEN Thats where i have just fitted mine that came with the trailtech vapor. So we are both correct or both wrong , lol so witch way does it flow? head to rad or pump to rad? I put mine about 4-6 inches ffrom the pump i think head to rad... the pump flows cooled coolant through the engine up and out of the head to the rad. ???? I'm pretty sure out of head is return to rad (hottest readings?) here is mine I just cut hose & put T in line right side view top to rad left to head rt to gauge gave me the best angles w/o kinks

Your in good shape... IMO you want to know the MAX temp. Installing it before the pump really isn't going to tell you how hot the engine is. Since that coolant just came from the rad, its going to be considerably cooler than actual engine temps.. Check it... http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...4&hl=Temp+guage Throughout that thread I listed all the info I could think of  RIPPEN
