crazyfzr1 Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 Just wondering if anyone has Tusk Tie rods ends? They are a hell of a lot cheaper than Yamaha replacements and was wondering if they are just as good? Thanks Quote
locogato11283 Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 i have them on both my banshees. they are fuckin sweet and the price rocks. they are much heavier duty than the stock ones. i highly recommend them. also, to keep your tie rods from bending so easily, you could have a machine shop make you some tie rods about 3/4" to 1" longer than your stock ones. it will catch more of the thread and help to keep them from bending easier. or you could get ahold of gary at quicksand and he can make you some nice aluminum ones. thats what i did anyway. PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 I've got the Tusks, haven't had any problems with them. I also as Loco said have the Quicksand rods and they fit perfectly. Quote
Banshee17Racing Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 I've got tusk tie rod ends on my way from RMatv. I haven't heard any bad things about 'em...seems like everybody likes em. I should be getting my quicksand arms on Friday(FINALLY) ! I didn't realize the arms didn't come with ends until a couple days ago . Quote
SICK BOY Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 I've bought a bunch of Tusk products, and I'm happy with all of them. Quote
