2strokespirit
I bought a set of (i2500) +2 +1 Hydrodynamics a arms and 4 months later elka comp&rebound adj shocks. When i ordered the a arms the dealer told me that the elka(cross country & mx) shocks wil fit on the arms, anyway when i had fit the a arms, the upper arm could slide back and forward about 1.5mm, i had to make a stainless steel washer to get rid of the gap! The second desaster was that the elka shocks's spring was to thick and the upper a arm's tubing was in its way. I had to modify the upper arm!! 2strokespirit
..when i contact the dealer, they did not want to take the arms back, i am a mech engineer so this was easy to fix, i had to cut 5mm of the one side where the bush fits in and add it up at the front of the arm to move the arm back for the shock to clear the arm. All done and look great! Pics wil be up soon. I just dont like people who tell u a certain product wil fit on another and then if it dont they just pull up their shoulders! Anyways i am from SA so dont u worry about the dealer!

Put them on ebay and get something from a reputable company. I doubt they will clear shocks with piggy backs anyways. When I had a problem with my custom creations arms slightly rubbing on the resevoir of my piggy back elkas they stood by their product, granted their chrome shop took FOREVER, but they had a new set of arms made for me by the following week. Thats how it should be, if your shocks don't even have piggy backs that is just a piss poor design and it's BS.
kajones
Put them on ebay and get something from a reputable company. i would venture so far as to say that hydrodynamics is a reputable company...
dawarriorman
Did you contact Hydrodynamics or the place you bought the a-arms from? If you tried to get the place you bought them from to fix the problem, and they wouldn't take them back, thats not Hydrodynamics fault. Thats a lousy dealer (although most places won't take stuff back when its that old).
