  1. I took mine apart. Pulled the little clip off. Used a hacksaw blade to "re-cut" the groove's on the shaft so they have nice sharp edges again instead of all rounded due to years of use. compress the snap ring a little for a tighter fit into the grooves and re-installed. Works better than new... No bullshit. Otherwise.. you could always just use a twig broken off about 3/4" long and prop the knob out...
  2. When I built motor... 142psi and 145psi. Half tank and Three heat cycles... 150psi and 151psi. Three tanks later... 161psi and 162psi. Tonight... (eight months old) 158psi and 160psi. I say: Three heat cycles and head for the drag strip. (heat cycles as in through the gears heat cycles, not driveway heat cycles)
  3. It sounds like you were only at the southeast end of juniper (the beginning). Soon as you get out into the heart of it... there isn't really any "rocks" to speak of, nothing that would ever endanger the well being of a hauler anyway. Was that enclosed trailer pulled by a red volvo (semi)? That would have been us... Sorry you had a shitty time... if you ever make it down this way again hit me up. Yes... this is (by quite a bit) the best sand in Washington... hands down. But, like I said, if you don't know Where the sand is, you better have 10 gallons strapped to the back of that banshee... Cause you ARE going to need it. Best of luck to ya. P.S. Don't attempt it in the summer.... we only night ride (june-august) cause it is a shitty existence out there that time of year.
  4. There may be a few on youtube. When I make it to my buddies house I can always email you some of them... all of them... whatever. PM me your address and I'll work on it.
  5. ill be there on pres day weekend i will be at juniper on sunday

  6. ill be there on pres day weekend i will be at juniper on sunday

  7. hopefully i will be there in 2 weeks

  8. Sand Dunes in 5 1/2 Hours.... Cant sleep.

  9. I sir, am a fat ass (more like a skinny 270). How would that heavy spring work on a stock shock, +2 swinger and me sitting on it? I need something better (stiffer) but shocks and springs are not my gig.
  10. X2. No sense contaminating a nice buffing wheel.
  11. With my mods.... 30 pilots and 300 mains will take me down to about 15*f. If I have to install 310's... I stay home. Don't even know why I bought them Clean Everything check your floats, reeds, air filter, (outerwear if you got it... mine cause me run-ability issues all the time. Amazing how fast them bastards clog up), and move on down the line. You'll finger it... just takes a minute.
  12. 37.5? Pretty big tho. What elev? I would think it's still pretty big.
  13. (For me).... Pro Circuits if you do trails more than sand. I'd rather have T-5's for the sand, but for the riding I do, had to go with the Pro Circuits. Solid all around pipe btw, just doesn't have quite as good of a hit as the toomeys. In the end (money willing) it's all preference.
  14. x2. Good to hear it's a runner...
  15. Let me guess??? You have only been there once... with others who had not been there. Moses Lake and Juniper CANNOT be compared as far as the riding goes... The Biggest, Baddest, Gnarliest, bitch of a climb you can find at Moses is equivalent to...... Well, nothing at Juniper... Here's a tip... Next time, find a local, ask real nice, and just maybe he will hold your hand and show you what No first-timer would ever be able to find... Remember: Moses bout 2500 acres rideable. Juniper is 18000 acres rideable with total elevation change of over 280 feet. Besides the water... there is no comparison. Unless you have a boat. Moses IS the waste of fuel. Btw, that hill is at what we call the bunny slopes.. You were about 4.5 MILES short of the real shit. The biggest hill (the lost dune) is another 2.5 Miles further out than that!!
