Tz and max load bearing

Recommended Posts

If you run a TZ bearing you should step up to straight-cut gears. The helical cut gears will destroy the TZ bearing over time by pulling the needles sideways in their race.

if you want a good heavy duty crank and want to keep the stock helical cut gears go with maxload bearings on both ends.

For what you're building and the type of riding you're going to be doing, I would just get the normal 4mil crank with the stock style bearings.
