I was wondering if you guys could tell me the chemicals or cleaning solvents you use to clean your cases? Or some ideas on a solvent thats known for cleaning the cases pretty good. Thanks in advance. dirtydownunder Posted February 25, 2011 Report Share Posted February 25, 2011 i had mine wet bead blasted and they came out like new. i had all of the mounting surfaces taped up, but the peeps removed it as the beads are so small and light, it only removes the top surface like it polishes the aluminium only and doest distort or warp it in any way. camatv Posted February 26, 2011 Report Share Posted February 26, 2011 you cannot remachine the stock cases in anyway they are horz split there is no material you can safely remove. i use a solvent tank. never tried bead blasting them just to scared to try. maybe a light media?
