ratracer1 Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 Confused. Any info would be very appreciated. How can those big knobs on the tors be refereed to as idle screws & for sync? If they have to be bottomed out and have a little play in cable then how can I turn them up for the idle. wouldn't it lift em up causing there to be no play? I can get it to idle when the knobs are turned almost all the way in, but when you give it gas it goes way up, eventually comes down, then way down, then shuts off. The air screw does not seem to do much, but have it 2 turns out. Should syncing be done from the top screw at the cable or knobs or both? Also I just unplugged the tors & will try that out tomorrow. Doubt that had anything to do with the idol but seems to be the thing to do according to the masses. Seems to be easier to keep that big thing on there rather than drilling holes in the carb for idol? Thanks a lot for your time. Quote
