alright here it is i hope one of u guys can help me out there.

my bike.

 

65mm bore

k&N proflo with K&n filter with cut air box

stock carbs 300 main 25 pilot needle is on second clip from top

cpi in frames (what i was told) toomey ends

bosyen* pedels on stock cages.

now the bike starts right up sounds good to 1/2 open

but wideopen falls on its face.????

buut if u keep it about hhalf its runns likes a beast.

and if your windopen goin down a road an let off an try to stab it again

feel like it falls back on its face.

same with take off. have to wind it up to go any where

my dad told me it could be from the pipes bein not right for my bike bein

mostly stock

idk why i cant post picture but if anyon can help an telling

me what i should use or try would be great.

i can send pics threw email.

try some spark plug caps they are cheap and are know for faulting over time. when you change the caps, cut about a 1/2" off the end off the coil spark plug wire and screw the new plug cap on.

check the normal stuff like pick up gap on the fly wheel (.017"-.020") and coil resistance.

 

have you tried any other jetting and needle positions ?.

I've ran CPI's on a stock shee and they ran great...

 

Maybe those 300's are too rich, so its choking on fuel at WOT?? Just a guess :headbang: Do a plug chop

 

 

 

it had bigger jets in it befor when i got it an did same thing there was a 260 an 250 i guess drilled out they both were same size but bigger than 300

how do i post pictures on here an ill show u
