Hey guys! This is my first post, been reading here for some time now. Anyway i was a 4 stroke guy till i found an 02 bone stock shee for 1300 so well see how the 2 stroke treats me! Hole different world!! Anyway last week i went up to pabansheematts place (great guy!) and picked up his pro circuits he had for sale. He suggested i go with 260' mains which i did. Plug test came back good. But now i want more power. SO if i take off the air box lid i need to re jet? What should i go with? 290's 300's? thanks for any help you can give a newbee!

definate score......without knowing temps and elevation, i would say to start there. remember to fasten the filter down and do your plug chops as described in the pinned topic..

thanks for the reply! Do you suggest running without the lid? definitely pick up a lot more hp? Also any ideas on how to hold down the filter? I was going to rig up something but figured there might be a thread on it. Thanks again

well, it depends on the ridding conditions. you have many options. you can cut the lid in half at the front clamps just to hold the filter in, you can get the billet filter plate that bolts in the box and uses a k&n clamp-on filter, like i have, or you can run pods and get rid of the box. not sure how much gains, but they are there. definately an improvement over the snorkel inlet.

yes.....what is in there now? i would start with 310, needle clip in the middle.....but, did you get everything back together right? choke tube in place? slides in there right? and you pre-oiled the filter, but not over-oiled?

i hope its the jets cuz its doing something pritty funny it runs on 2 when its idaling then as soon as i get to secnd gear or higher it runs on one pple are telling me its the coil but it diden't do it befor i got the pods so i think it needs to be jetted

yes remember to fasten the filters on with new hose clamps and not the stock clamps. I had a pod come off last year at the dunes and killed my motor... So after P&P and a new crank shes up and running better then ever.
