Funny thing is, no one realizes how huge the front end really is til they get some scale...I personally can't stand the assymetrical trophytruck design mainly because of the looks, and a few other design details like the loooong bolt through the spindle, but it seems to get the job done.

And a few more imitators...

And it even has billet arms...

For some reason I want to say that last time this topic came up someone pointed out that the top frame was not an authentic Sundahl. For some reason I want to say that the Sundahl used ball joints on the top and bottom of modified stock style spindles not the long bolts with shims like that guy has.

Also those "imitators..." are fuking awesome frames. They are designed and built by Louie at Twistser if I am not mistaken.

I think you are right. The second picture posted (this one) appears to have ball joints. Take a closer look.

I would take any of those frames though.

I don't believe Louie is doing the design of the frames in questions, using that green bike as an example. I know who is though...........

I always wondered what happened to dean ? he used to live a few miles from my house and built my old 250r back in the day now that have a banshee he is no where to be found. btw i remember looking at his banshee at his shop/house and that thing was fricken tall.

I believe he is working for Solar Turbines down in SoCal. He still has a fab shop and participates in the ATV industry, but he stays out of the media for the most part. :geek:
