12 paddle Extreme 22x11x8 for a Redline 10mm Ported Serval

Ok guys, I need your help.

I bought a 421 10mm Serval motor custom Kit ( shoud make 100HP I hope ) from Redline to be used in Pinamar Dunes in Argentina.

After reading some post and a quick call to the manufacturer , I am thinking that for the rear tires I should be buying a couple of Skat-Trak 22x11x8 RO 74+ 12 Paddles Extreme on DWT Black Level to be used as 70% Drags and 30% Dune riding.

My weigh is 210 pounds and the Sand where we drag depending on the day is dry to a little humid.

Based on your experience What should be the ideal Size, paddle, RO, etc ?

Thanks.

Sergio.

The 90 to 100 HP are just an estimate Power as the motor will be built and dyno as soon as the parts arrive this month.

I decided to test the +4 to be able to ride dunes and drag as there is only 2 or 3 people I know that have longer swing arms here. After a season of experience with the +4, I will not doubt to upgrade for a longer swingarm if a +6 or a +8 allow me to ride the same way and Drag.

What RO do you have ? Does it make any noticeable difference ?

210 lbs, +4 arm, 12 paddles and 100+hp will be entertaining to watch.

Yes. And not from the drivers seat. Haha.

I'd do a +8 minimum if I were drag racing seriously. Of course it won't dune as good though. It's all about compromises. ..do you want to win drag races more or dune more?

The tires you mentioned sound very similar to what I ran..except mine are staggered paddles. I like them.

Yes , I want to win drag races but Drags are not as competitive as i the US. Our race are mixed Yamahas 450 , cubs, +4 mm and +4 is the longest swinarm except for a few guys (2 or 3).

My project was to build the a +10mm from a known builder ( not sure but may be the first here ) and try to keep it hybrid with some advantages in power.

Sounds like you should do good. I will also say a properly set up 4mm could take you, if his setup is right (he can launch hard and not wheelie) and your setup is off ( you can't launch hard without a bad wheelie).

Do you mean a 4mm with a longer swingarm , the proper gear ratio and a stellar chassis or modified chassis ?
