I just purchased this bike and it was really smokey on initial start up.but cleared up after warming up.i have only ridden up the street and back then parked it.

So i have drained fuel,(which was old)cleaned out carbies, airbox, filter,Changed plugs, decarboned exhausts and is now ready to fire up but just wanted to check specs first.

It also has a boost bottle, pilot air screw wound out 2 turns from hard seated,5n7 needle on #3 setting.

thanx

Very new to this. 88 banshee, 0.030 over, Toomey T5 exhaust. I'm at about 900ft elevation. I bought the quad with 2 left carbs so I'm replacing them. trying to figure out what size carbs/jets I should run. Mostly just trail riding this season. I'm thinking 28mm carbs and clueless on jetting. I have no air box yet the quad is completely stripped down to the frame and I'm trying to put it back together the right way. HAAAALP!
