Grinderhere
Hey boys looking for a little help, I put new toomey t6 pipes on my banshee but can't get it to idle right, so I used the toomey needles on the forth notch and their 280 jets and did the air box vents but for some reason I cannot get the bike to idle right. The bike rips when riding and the plugs look great but it idles high no matter how I adjust the idle unless I run it with the choke half out then it idles lower like it should any help would be appreciated thanks
sheerider11
You need to up the pilots then. Running a little lean. 27.5 or 30 should be right around what you need depending where you are
Grinderhere
Ok I'll look into that tonight thanks I'm north of Seattle so we really aren't much higher than sea level even when we go to the dunes and I think I'm only a couple hundred feet above sea level at home
uman1030
Is it possible your cable is adjusted too tight either at the handle bars or on top of the caps and its not allowing the slides to drop to the idle screws? but i also agree that its likely lean if it has stock pilot still.
