mechaniac
I am in the process of installing a Trinity stage IV 2 into 1 CV kit. I have a 89 banshee with Boyesen RAD valves. The air horn on the RAd valves do not clear and must be milled or should i seek out a pair of stock or other reed cages that will work. It seems like I remember someone on here posting pics of the milled reed cages. Does anyone know if I should modify them or replace them with some other brand or stock units. please advise and thanks in advance. AKheathen
you can cut them if you want, and have the tools to shape it to flow good, or i'm sure someone would be willing to trade for ported stock cages
jbooker82
I would sell yours not hacked up. Buy a set of V Force 3's with Cascade's reed retainers / stuffers. They will help match up the intake size of the 2:1 manifold and reed cage. The v Forces come with an insert that has a small round opeaning to match the round opeaning in the stock carb boots. Cascade sells some aluminump pices that replace the small round reed stuffer / insert. Here is there web site. http://67.199.65.66/cascade_innovations/newlook/store/store_View.cfm?STORE_AREA_ID=13&store_dept_id=
