ETR174
I was rejetting my Shee today and I need some help. I have FMF Pipes with stock silencers, Boyesen Power Reeds, 4" pod filters, and is bored .30 over. I got a Shindy rebuild kit today that comes with 200 mains and 25 pilots (used everything but jets) and I put in 270 mains and 27.5 pilots I had sitting around and it bogged in about 1/3 throttle to about 1/2 or 3/4 throttle but top end was excellent and both plugs were milk chocolate on half of the inside of both plugs and the other side of the white was a medium black. I need help as to what my jetting should be and what needle position I need. Needle position in that jetting was the 2nd position.
trickedcarbine
Crank the needles to the bottom clip and go from there. The main and pilot sound close though. Maybe a bit more main. The FMF's seem to work pig rich on the bottom. Maybe even a 30 pilot.. Bu try the needle first and only the needle. One change at a time. ETR174
Thanks but I found out a few things from the previous owner today. He said he has Powercore 2 silencers and that ran with 260's no problem but he put the stock silencers back on due to DNR sound limitations and the stock silencer and Fatty pipe set up runs 180's. I put the airbox back on too because I figured it will have better protection that way so I'm going to see about getting a K&N filter element to use instead of this filthy UNI filter.
