421 MX Ported Serval, which pipes, Snipers or CPI?

Thanks for that.

Do you have any other recommendations, ie, paddle tires, straight paddle vs v-paddle?

I have sand stars. Like said, the front steers like it's on rails.

The rear tires slide a lot. The motor out powers them tho. I want to get brats. They are sweet

How do you feel about sliding with straight paddles vs v-paddles.

I heard straight paddles will allow the bike to snap slide right out from under you when crawling sideways on a dune or slide angles get too big?

Thoughts?

I wouldn't bother with straight cut gears unless you just want to. Not much bang for the buck so to speak.

Oh yeah?

I thought at 80+ whp levels it was more of a reliability thing vs desire.

Thoughts?

I have asked Cameron if they're necessary on this build in a PM.

I'm waiting to hear back.

Many have ran 100hp motors a long time with helical gears. If your builder recommends it though do what he says. The worse thing to do is follow various opinions (even if good advice) and Internet banter to put a build together.

I didn't run straight cuts on my 4mil serval. I did start using them with the 10 servo tho

When he did my old 7mill that made 90+hp, he told me that I should think about doing straight cuts.  I decided to, just for piece of mind.  My older brother who runs a 4mill cub still has factory helical after 4 seasons.  You would probably be fine, but Cam won't point you in the wrong direction or try to sell you stuff you don't need.

Thanks for the heads up!!

I don't want to spend the money on straight cuts if I don't have to run them.

If your brother has a 4mil Cub running helicals for 4 seasons then I'll be fine with a puny 4 mil mx/dune port Serval...

One of many reasons why Cam is building my motor.

I did call another shop, they didn't answer.

Cam told me some very interesting tid bits of info that surprised the heck out of me.

Needless to say up for sale will be the following:

Chariot Billet non-Crossover Intakes

Chariot Billet Reed Cages w/Boyesen Stage 2 Reeds

Toomey T5's

I'll be taking pics of all of this in the coming days...
