Jetting help

Recommended Posts

Working on getting my banshee running again. Its been sitting in my garage for 6 years. Switching up from a Trinity single carb setup to dual 28mm keihin pwks. Engine is stock. Got some new SLP pipes, K&N air box lid, 1 SLP 2 inch flow rite for the air box. Going to upgrade from VF2 to VF4 reeds. Anyone give me a base line for jetting? Riding around 500 feet above sea level

Just realized that my carbs have different sized fuel inlet nipples. One is for 5/16 fuel line the other is for 1/4 line . If I reduce a 5/16 line down to a 1/4 line will that throw anything off being that 2 different sized lines are feeding my carbs?

Well I finally got it running today. Got a bit of a bog off of idle. Wants to stall out when letting the clutch out unless I keep the revs up. Running 145 mains, 48 pilot, jjh needles with clip in the 3rd position, air screws are 1 1/2 turns out.

Pulls hard once it gets past the bog.
