Ended up switching fuel types halfway through the day on sat (they sold out of my normal fuel). Was nice piece of mind being able to glance down at the EGT on the straights to make sure the new fuel wasn't causing be any issues. And JD, ever try listening to your motor while in a pack with 4-5 big four stroke quads? Kinda hard to hear... For real though, some folks are able to tune by sound, feel, seat of the pants. Others need a little more help. The later of the two will swear up and down its not possible.
