theputz Posted June 14, 2015 Report Share Posted June 14, 2015 From what I have been told previously if your exhaust changes color it is likely due to excessive heat. This seems accurate in my case as yesterday we did some riding and it was cool and damp out and in 8 degree Celsius weather my coolant managed to hit 120 degrees Celsius just playing on the hills, nothing excessive. The problem is when I look at the plugs they seem a little on the fat side if anything. Is it possible a lean pilot would cause this? I have been fighting a bottom end bog for awhile now.
