oldskool Posted March 5, 2015 Report Share Posted March 5, 2015 Remove carb top and slide, disconnect cable. Take slide off of cable and spring. The needle will dump out in your hand. It has a clip in one of the five notches on needle. Moving the clip up will cause leaner condition, moving clip down will richen. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dirtydownunder Posted March 5, 2015 Report Share Posted March 5, 2015 think the tm's have the spring/needle retainer screwed to the slide, so will have to pull the spring back then unscrew the retainer screws THEN it will all fall out. mikuni needles are the worst to change compared to other carbs.
